Teenpreneurs

Teenpreneurs — from an idea to something real.

An international online programme for teenagers who want to turn their ideas into real projects, discover what they're capable of, and learn to create value for other people.

This is not a traditional business course. No fictional business plans written only for a teacher. No endless lectures. No pressure to become a loud, confident leader or to decide on a future career before you're ready.

Teenpreneurs is a practical space where young people learn by doing. They explore ideas, spot real problems, work with others, build first versions, talk to potential users, make mistakes, improve their projects and bring something genuine into the world.

Not made to blend in. Made to create.

Teenpreneurs is the first programme created by uNickorns — a movement for teenagers who think against the grain, create boldly, cooperate with empathy and turn their uniqueness into genuine confidence.

We don't build confidence with empty praise.

It grows when a young person can say:

  • I had an idea.
  • I took responsibility.
  • I created something.
  • I dealt with problems.
  • I worked with other people.
  • I finished what I started.

Teenpreneurs gives teenagers the experiences that kind of confidence is really built on.

What they learn

By the end, they know how to…

  • recognise problems and opportunities
  • turn interests and ideas into practical projects
  • understand what other people genuinely need
  • make decisions without waiting for perfect certainty
  • create and test products, services, campaigns or initiatives
  • communicate ideas clearly
  • collaborate with people who think differently
  • divide roles and take responsibility
  • give and receive constructive feedback
  • respond when something doesn't work
  • use AI thoughtfully and creatively
  • understand the basics of value, money, pricing and marketing
  • present their work with confidence
  • reflect on their strengths, habits and role within a team

The goal isn't to produce identical young entrepreneurs. Each participant may discover a different role — generating ideas, organising, designing, researching, communicating, analysing, building relationships, or noticing the details everyone else missed. Teenpreneurs helps each young person discover how they can contribute.

What they create

It leaves the classroom and meets the real world.

Participants might create:

a producta servicea small branda podcast or media projectan eventa gamea campaigna social initiativean artistic projecta digital prototypea solution to a local or global problem

Not every project has to become a company. But it does have to leave the classroom and meet the real world. Participants talk to real people, gather feedback and find out whether what they're building is genuinely useful, interesting or valuable.

How it works

A full school-year journey, in three stages.

01

Make something happen

Participants begin with short challenges and smaller projects. They explore their interests, practise taking initiative and feel what it's like to bring an idea to life. The first goal isn't perfection — it's proving to themselves: something happened because I decided to act.

02

Build it together

Participants work in small teams on a bigger project. They learn to choose an idea, divide responsibilities, understand an audience, build a first version and respond to problems. This is where collaboration gets real — different opinions, changing motivation, missed commitments, hard decisions. With a mentor's support, they learn to work through those situations instead of avoiding them.

03

Lead and launch

In the final stage, participants get more independence. They might develop an earlier project, start something new, take charge of an area or step into a leadership role. The year ends with a Teenpreneurs Demo Day, where they present what they created, what changed along the way, and what they learned about themselves.

Who it's for

Teenpreneurs is for teenagers who…

  • have ideas but don't know how to begin
  • are creative but sometimes chaotic
  • start things but struggle to finish them
  • have potential their school results don't show
  • want to become more independent
  • need more confidence in their own abilities
  • enjoy technology, creativity, business, media or social projects
  • want to meet young people from other countries
  • don't feel comfortable in traditional learning settings
  • are still searching for their interests and direction
They don't need
  • a business idea
  • previous experience
  • perfect English
  • natural confidence
  • a clear career plan
  • a loud or outgoing personality

They need curiosity, openness and a willingness to try.

What parents notice

Over time, parents may see their teenager…

  • suggesting ideas more often
  • starting tasks with less prompting
  • taking on more responsibility
  • communicating more confidently
  • responding to mistakes more constructively
  • more willing to ask for help
  • understanding their strengths more clearly
  • cooperating better with others
  • finishing more of what they start
  • using technology to create, not only consume

Teenpreneurs doesn't promise to turn a young person into someone else. It gives them a structured environment where they can become more fully themselves.

Tell us a little about the teen and what they want to build. A real person reads and replies.

We read every one. No form-letter rejections.

Not made to blend in. Made to create.

Teenpreneurs isn't about teaching teenagers to follow another set of instructions. It's about helping them discover that they can think, decide, create, collaborate and influence what happens next.

They don't need to wait until adulthood to begin. They can start creating something real now.
